Sam's Bar (now called Zinc, needs new review)
In the heart of the Café Quarter, Sam's is especially good when the sun is shining and you can sit outside on the terrace. Inside things are a little too shiny and chrome–covered, that aside it show cases bands weekly and serves up pretty good bar food.
