Posh, with a big 'P'. This place oozes noughties sophistication and judging by the name, they know it. Situated right next to the National Assembly, Cutting Edge tends mainly to service politicians on 'working lunches' – watch them scrambling for the receipt – but with the Bay rapidly becoming the location of choice for most young professionals, it's a popular place to impress for Cardiff's 'It' crowd too. It's worth saving your paper round money to try it out because the food really is of the melt in your mouth variety. Alternatively you could just stand at the bar and have a drink, fill yourself up with the luscious olives and hope someone you know will walk past the big windows and spot you.
