The Borough

A long, tall pub with a tale to tell so if you're sitting comfortably we'll begin. It originally opened in 1800 and was reputed to be the place where the 'bounds' were beaten and the 'beaters' thirst quenched. It was then renamed in 1897 to The Bogeda and then again in 1961 to 'The Borough'. Quite what use this information will be to you we don't really know, we're just showing off. Get yourself down here and give the old place a try.
