A place to escape from the hubbub of the city centre, the relaxed atmosphere is infectious, and before you know it, you've managed to spend the whole afternoon lounging around sipping lattés and chilling to funky tunes. The freshly prepared food is wicked – with prices to match – and the only difficulty is deciding between the wide range of tempting salads, jackets and baguettes. There's a fine selection of specialty coffees and teas, and the homemade cakes are simply to die for. Leaves the bog–standard chain coffee houses crying over their frothy spilt milk.
