Washington Gallery

Set inside a stunning art–deco building that used to be a cinema in its heyday, this bright gallery on two floors has lots of modern, colourful art on show, most of which is for sale. There's also a big selection of arty cards if you can't quite afford the real thing. The attached café is licensed and has an Italian influenced menu – grilled ciabattas with salami etc –.
