The Miller Tavern
The pub sign is a painting of a rustic looking man – presumably the miller – shrugging nonchalantly as his angry looking wife menacingly wields an axe close to his head. Apparently the brewery's depiction of the then managers' notoriously stormy marriage –it didn't go down too well with the wife. Now under new management, Cardiff's answer to Den and Ange are not the only thing to be off the menu, their delicious sounding tagliatelle and chips is too. Still, with a pool table, dartboard and a host of reasonably priced drinks it's a welcoming place to while away a few hours.
