Halfway it is if you're doing a pub crawl from Llandaff to town, otherwise it's just plain outoftheway. Eitherway The Halfway is still well worth a visit because this warm old pub has been popular with young and old well before Pontcanna became Cardiff's answer to Mayfair. Like any Welsh pub worth its leek–eating salts it's got the obligatory browning photographs of late rugby greats and just for the ladies there's a framed picture of a cute puppy on display too. The place is very Welsh and very rammed on international days so be warned.
