It looks like an old multi-storey car park from the outside, but the Cardiff Students' Union plays host to some of the best student nights in the city. Open four nights a week, Solus brings you the best of alternative, chart, rock 'n' roll, and of course, cheese. You may want to avoid Rubber Duck, the sports societies evening on Wednesdays, unless you are a jock or someone who likes to dress up in ridiculous outfits, such as porn stars, but any other time you'll be safe. Be sure to lap up all the cheap drinks - but watch out for those death steps outside.
