The largely younger student population means this place sometimes appears a little more like a youth club than a gay club, and the cheap looking décor and increasingly straight population have led more and more of Cardiff's gay scene to make a beeline for new club Pulse instead. Whilst the entrance fee remains small, the staff are rude and the music is so mainstream you'd have been better off listening to Red Dragon in your bedroom. Take it easy on the drinks unless you're prepared to brave the shocking state of the bogs in this downmarket club.
