Zync

Formerly Sam's bar, Zync would give its right disco light to be part of the trendy Cardiff scene. But sadly, try as it might, its dodgy décor, aesthetically challenged clientele and cheap alcopops don't quite cut it. Ask everyone you know in Wales and you'll be hard pressed to find someone who's ever lasted more than an hour in this desperate dump – except the staff that is, they're paid to stick it out to the bitter, tragic end. The only appeal is its air-conditioning, which let's face it, is hardly a necessity in Wales, even in the summer months. Best avoided.
