Blackwells
This bookish joint is absolutely teeming with eager-fingered, fresh-faced first years: once students get past the fresher stage they realise the overpriced and useless nature of the textbooks sold here. The only other time a student visits Blackwells is at the end of their degree when they try and flog the (let's be honest) unopened and unread books back to the shop only to receive just a couple of quid in return. That'll teach you for not getting your money's worth out of them. On the plus side, this store stocks a rather lovely array of cards, mugs and notebooks.
