The Gatekeeper
'But I'm 27!' It doesn't seem to matter. They ID everyone and anyone, on the door and at the bar. The Gatekeeper is your run of the mill Wetherspoon; complete with floral carpets, surly bouncers and that feeling that the bar staff want you to leave as soon as possible so that they can go home. It's tucked slightly out of the way off the high street, so you can wander about the place without somebody treading on your new shoes. Originally the Grand Theatre – then Philips Auctioneers – the building has now been relegated: going, going gone, into the depths of Spoonsville.
