The Glee Club
Does the thought of visiting a comedy club fill you with glee or terror? If you fall into the latter, don't sit at the front – you'll get picked on and it won't be pretty. But if you enjoy laughing at someone else's misfortunes, nationality, hair, lifestyle etc, then it's a perfect night. The tables are a little small and you feel like you're back at school – talking and toilet breaks are restricted to the intervals – which isn't funny when you've drank an expensive pitcher of Carling. Lee Evans plays his tour warm ups here by practising new material; if it works in Cardiff it works worldwide, apparently.
