Callaghans

Being right next to the Millennium stadium and below the Holiday Inn, Callaghan's is hardly a secret den in a secluded location. Therefore its obvious charms shine brightly. It's is an Irish bar with a decent crowd, a cold pint of Guinness and big screens with sky sports permanently on; it's a perfect match day pub. But the secret comes in the form of the venue's alternative usage. Callaghan's has established itself in giving a platform to live music, live bands and open mic. The layout means you more or less have to notice the performers, rather than idly ignoring them while you and your mates sink shots at the bar.
