Ahh, the Daiquiri. Brown sugar and rum, heaven in a glass, best sipped while reclining in the sun. Unfortunately, Itchy can't whisk you off to a beach bar in Santiago, but we can suggest you brighten up your day – literally brighten up your day (the interior is a jovial palate of purple and yellow which says, 'Let my five-year-old paint') – by making a date in Daiquiris. It's busy throughout the week so be sure to make a reservation. Snug and informal serving wholehearted Mexican food and drink. Antonio Banderas not included, but the excellent paella will make up for it.
