Kings Cross
First built as a hotel in 1872 and then refurbished several times, the out-and-proud Kings Cross is the oldest gay in the village, attracting a mixed bag of guys, girls, the undecided and the unusual. Always full and always fun, the Cross camps it up with Kylie on loop blaring from the speakers. Karaoke, drag acts and school disco night are definitely not suitable for children. Situated on popular and trendy Mill Lane; reasonably priced drinks can be enjoyed in the pavement seating area – top up that tan, have a bitch and eye up the talent all at the same time.
