Bull Terrier Cafe
This place may send the greasy-spoon-o-meter clanging off the scale, but it's a Cardiff institution. Sandwiched between an evangelical Christian bookshop and a pet shop, on the balcony of Cardiff Central Market, the Bull Terrier is the venue to tuck into some no-frills fare. The star of the show is the laverbread breakfast, which will ensure that you need not eat for a week. Pedants who like their cutlery sans smear should look elsewhere.
