Botanical Gardens

To unleash your inner Alan Titchmarsh or Charlie Dimmock (wear a bra though please) follow the sweet perfume of flowers and enter the Botanical Gardens. Ok, we made up the good smells bit but the gardens boast an impressive selection of flora from across the globe. And jeepers creepers, they've crammed lots into a small space (Itchy walked right through before realising we'd come out the other side). If you fancy miscellaneous fish for supper, cast your line along the River Kelvin. The downside - when you've seen everything, you've seen everything. Bring a picnic, chill in the main gardens and soak up the quiet.
